Quick start
From zero to your first legal verdict in about a minute.
1. Sign in
Create an account at the app — the free plan includes 25 checks, no card required.
2. Run a check
Open Run a check from the sidebar. Enter your scale-ticket weights:
- Jurisdiction — US Federal, a verified state (TX, CA, FL, IL, PA), or Canada (CA-MOU or a province).
- Units — imperial (lb / in) or metric (kg / m).
- Steer, drive tandem, trailer tandem weights, and the load's centre of gravity.
Hit Run. You'll get a legal/illegal verdict with a bar for each axle group.
3. Read the verdict — and fix it
Green bars mean each group is within its limit. If a group is over, LoadLegit computes the exact tandem slide (in holes) to bring it legal. See Understanding the verdict.
