1. The service

LoadLegit provides software that estimates truck axle loads, centre of gravity, gross weight, and jurisdictional weight-limit compliance (including the US Federal Bridge Formula, certain US state rules, and Canadian interprovincial MOU / provincial limits), and generates related documents such as compliance certificates. It’s offered on a per-load credit basis with optional subscription tiers.

2. Compliance disclaimer — please read

LoadLegit provides compliance guidance, not legal advice, and its results are estimates — not a guarantee of legality. Verdicts depend on the accuracy of the data you enter and on rule data that may change or be incomplete. Weight and dimension laws vary by jurisdiction, road, permit, season, and equipment, and official limits are set by the relevant government authorities.

You are solely responsible for the legal operation of your vehicles, for verifying results against official sources and a certified scale, and for obtaining any required permits. LoadLegit is not liable for fines, citations, out-of-service orders, delays, damage, or other losses arising from reliance on the service. Always confirm with the governing authority before you roll.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t: break the law; infringe others’ rights; reverse-engineer, resell (except under an authorised reseller arrangement), or overload the service; probe or bypass security; scrape beyond your API limits; or upload malware or content you don’t have the right to use. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Reseller / white-label

If you use LoadLegit under a reseller or white-label arrangement, you’re responsible for your client companies, for the prices you set them, and for your own agreements with them. You may not misrepresent LoadLegit or remove required notices except as the arrangement permits.

7. Intellectual property

LoadLegit, its software, and its content are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service per these Terms. Your data stays yours — you grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service for you (e.g. to run checks, store your history, and generate your documents).

8. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that results are error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoadLegit and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, fines, citations, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You’ll indemnify and hold LoadLegit harmless from claims and costs arising out of your use of the service, your data, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using LoadLegit any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, or to comply with law. Sections that by nature should survive (billing owed, IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Skopje, North Macedonia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll notify you by email or in the app; continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
